South Jakarta to Relocate Darul Jannah Mosque

A Darul Jannah Mosque that located on 3rd floor of South Jakarta Mayor office will be relocated to east side of the building. Thus its existence can be known by many.

Because it's located in office, activity and mosque syiar (Islamic proselytizing) is only effective on days and work hours

South Jakarta Mayor, Tri Kuniardi disclosed, all this time, the mosque position blends with the government building thus many people do not know its existence.

"Because it's located in office, activity and mosque syiar (Islamic proselytizing) is only effective on days and work hours," he said, during a groundbreaking of Darul Jannah Mosque, Tuesday (6/28).

PMKS in Istiqlal Mosque Raided

He conveyed, the mosque development is predicted to spend Rp 60 billion that taken from Non-City Budget (APBD).

"We'll form a committee to ensure the mosque development thus it can run in accordance with the plan," he stated.

The mosque would have three floors as wide as 8,000 square meters with details ground floor that will be used as a parking lot, second floor as a multipurpose room and third floor as a worship room. It can accommodate 1,950 pilgrims.
